I'm almost too tired to blog tonight because you see, I've had a busy weekend. We had house guests! I just love it when people come to visit me. I worked really hard all day helping Mom clean the house. I even helped her dust the coffee table and made sure she had moral support by playfully barking at her.
Finally last night, Daddy came home, smelling like cows and trees and had Brandon and Erin with him! I just love them! I heard everyone talking about cleaning up trees that fell at Mema's house. They sure smelled like they did something. Soon after my grandparents showed up. They're great. I could follow my Grandpa anywhere. I tried to sleep with them, but Mom and Dad made me sleep with them. They said some people might not like being woke up in the middle of the night by my licking their eyeballs if I need to potty or sticking a tooth up their noses if I really needed to poop.
Everyone left sort of early this morning, though no one got out of bed early enough in my opinion. I was kicked out of the bedroom because Mom and Dad weren't ready to get up at seven, and they kept me from running upstairs to visit with everyone else. So I just cried at the foot of the stairs and by the big bedroom door. Then they got up and started loading up vehicles. I decided that enough was enough and went for a quick run around the neighborhood.
I was glad to have company because I'm tired of being in the house. My yard isn't icy any more, but it's all muddy. I sort of like playing in the mud, but I know Mom and Dad don't like it. Mom played some racquetball with me today, finally. When we were through, I had to go upstairs to our bathroom so she could clean off my feet. I loves baths, but get tired of hearing about my smelling like a "wet dog" when we're though. Well of course I'm going to smell like a wet dog, that's what I am. They'd really be holding their noses if I was a wet skunk.
